The “Ferme de 1799” is an old farm located in the old village of Saint-Martin de Belleville. We named this program “Ferme de 1779” because of the date that was engraved in a stone at the pediment of a door to indicate the beginning of the construction.
The building is representative of the traditional mountain house, including its vaulted stables, stone walls, spacious eaves and timber frame. The main facade is exposed to the southwest and open to the great landscape.
Witness of the agro-pastoral history of the village, “La Ferme de 1779” deserves a renovation respecting its identity while revealing at best its potential of today by the realization of luxury services.
Its immediate environment makes it a rare property in Saint Martin: from the farm, a charming pedestrian street leads in 5 minutes to the village square with its baroque church, its shops open all year round, its restaurants and the ski lift to access the large ski areas of the three valleys.
